Anbiams( Basic Christian communities)
The Basic Christian Communities are calleb ‘Anbiams’ in Tamil language which means ‘Families living with Love’. The whole Parish is divided into 31 Anbiams( BCC) each one with 25 to 30 families and it is the source of strength for its pastoral and social activities. Each one has its President and secretary who manage to conduct its monthly gatherings regularly in which all issues related to social and pastoral are discussed, arrive at decisions and work together for their overall development. They have the clear vision, the mandate and strategic events by which the qualities of their lives are enhanced. The leaders are trained to update their knowledge and skills at regular intervals.

The Anbiams have their numbers and the places in Holy Lands for their identification and recognition. The Anbiams are regularly attended by the Parish Priests and the religious congregations are also taking part in the smooth running of the Anbiams which is for them participation in it and also a contribution that they make to the growth of the Christian Community.
