Legion of Mary was started in the parish for the first time in the year 1944 and Fr. R. Ambrose who later on became the Bishop of Pondicherry- Cuddalore was the one initiated it. Later on there was two Presidium one at NH road and other at Aathupalam, but both the presidium did not survive for a longer period. Now the young girls have formed a presidium and we trust it would enthusiastically serve the parish church keeping Mother Mary as their Model and Guide!
