Catholic Association


Though the Association was approved by the Bishop of Coimbatore in the year 1954, it received its recognition at the Cathedral Parish only in the year 1991 during the tenure of Fr. Gurusamy. The activities of the associations are:

  • Assist the Parish in its celebrations and public events.
  • Conduct special devotion to Mother Mary on First Saturdays.
  • Arrange for Tours and Pilgrimages at reduced expenses
  • Fight for rights from the Government that are denied on the basis of religion
  • Support the poor children for their education
  • Visit the sick at the Hospitals, participate in the funerals of the Parishioners and console the family members.
